Out of toilet paper in Bali.
Did you know that in Bali, the traditional bathroom experience takes a unique turn? Instead of relying on the familiar toilet paper, many Balinese bathrooms are equipped with a water dipper and a scoop or a hose. Embracing a more eco-friendly approach, this method not only conserves paper but also adds a cultural touch to the daily routine. So, next time you visit a local bathroom, get ready for a refreshing and sustainable toiletry experience!

Calling All Aussie Nomads: Unveiling Your Indonesian Visa Options
Indonesia's allure for digital nomads is undeniable – turquoise waters, vibrant culture, and delicious cuisine, all while working remotely under swaying palm trees. But before you book your Bali bungalow, understanding your visa options is key. Worry not, because this guide will help you navigate the Indonesian visa landscape with ease.
While an official "Digital Nomad Visa" specifically designed for remote workers is still under development, you have several options as an Australian citizen:
1. Visa on Arrival (VOA):
This 30-day visa (extendable once) is the most common choice for short-term stays. However, avoid working remotely on a VOA, as it's intended for purely tourist activities. Violating this could lead to hefty fines or deportation.
2. Social Visa (B211B):
Valid for 60 days (extendable twice), this visa allows longer stays but prohibits any work, even remote. Again, focus on tourist activities to avoid complications.
3. Business Visa (B211A):
This 30-60 day visa allows business meetings and conferences, but not active work. Remote work falls under a grey area, so proceed with caution and consult legal advice.
